Technologies
Double DownTDoubleDown (DD) is the next step in the evolution of the dual-ply tire casing for enduro racing. Two 120 TPI casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert provide the enduro racer with the support and protection of a downhill tire, but in a lighter package.
3C MaxxTerra
The right mix for our 3C Enduro and Freeride tire. Smooth uphill and downhill best adhesion characterize this mixture just like a long life.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This provides better traction and rolling resistance decreases. And where there is no hose, also decreases the risk of punctures. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for the assembly with sealing milk than others "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bulge of our TR tire is completely covered like a real UST tubeless tires with a rubber layer.
Double Down (DD) - a lighter version of the butyl reinforcement, which in combination with a cord with a fiber density of 120TPI provides optimal properties for enduro/trail tires

PSI - udáva, na aký tlak výrobca odporúča nafúkať plášť. 1 atmosféra = 14,7 PSI
TPI (EPI)- hustota vlákien kostry plášťa. Čím vyššia hodnota TPI, tým flexibilnejší a pružnejší bude plášť.
Kevlarový plášť- pätka tvorená z kevlarových vlákien. Plášť sa dá skladať, je teda praktickejší pri presunoch či skladovaní. Vyznačuje sa nižšou váhou oproti drôteným plášťom a vyššej odolnosti pred prerazením.
Drôtený plášť- pätka tvorená z drôtu. Plášť je neohybný, je ťažší oproti kevlarovému.
