New tire protection WTB - SG2
In addition to its low weight, SG2 tire protection also ensures excellent protection against punctures and punctures. This new protective layer is lightweight and contains an ultra-thin nylon liner that covers the entire surface of the jacket from toe to toe. So you can go on any surface without worrying about breaking through.
How much more durable are the new skins with SG2? Laboratory tests show that the addition of the SG2 protective layer provides 33% better sidewall protection and 17% better tread protection than standard 60 TPI tires without SG2. TPI (EPI)- hustota vlákien kostry plášťa. Čím vyššia hodnota TPI, tým flexibilnejší a pružnejší bude plášť.
Kevlarový plášť- pätka tvorená z kevlarových vlákien. Plášť sa dá skladať, je teda praktickejší pri presunoch či skladovaní. Vyznačuje sa nižšou váhou oproti drôteným plášťom a vyššej odolnosti pred prerazením.
Drôtený plášť- pätka tvorená z drôtu. Plášť je neohybný, je ťažší oproti kevlarovému.
