Product description

With the top waterproof GORE-TEX® membrane, you are assured of warmth and dryness even in the harshest winter conditions that you will encounter during your ascents. The area of the palm and thumb is sewn from first-class goat leather of the Pittards® Armortan® brand, which is characterized by its high abrasion resistance and long life. The shape of the gloves is designed for a perfect grip on ice axes, so you can definitely take them on ice and mixed climbing. You will be warm in them and you will also have a great time climbing in them. They have great sensitivity and you can easily drill a screw into the ice in them.

The top is a very robust and stretchy EXOLITE softshell with an area weight of 210 g/m2.
Outer inserts made of GORE-TEX® membrane. Resistant to water and wind.
Pittards® Armortan® goat leather is used on the stressed areas of the palm and the opposite side of the glove for maximum abrasion resistance.
Climbing cut for a great ice ax grip.
Pleasant synthetic insole on the opposite side of the hand.
Palm insole made of micro fleece material, also serves as thermal insulation.
Velcro fastening around the wrist prevents snow from getting into the glove.
Soft skin on the thumb for wiping the nose without skin irritation.

GORE-TEX® waterproof climbing gloves

One of the several layers of which the glove is composed is the porous GORE-TEX® membrane, which is widely known for its excellent waterproof properties and very good breathability. This is a very important feature for mountaineering gloves, where you often touch snow and ice when climbing with an ice ax. Wet gloves can mean the end of your ascent, or at least make it more uncomfortable. And this can be avoided by using the SUPER COULOIR GLOVE.

Abrasion resistance, as much as you need

Both the palm area and the outer part of the glove are covered with first-class Pittards® Armortan® goat leather, which ensures perfect abrasion resistance. The rest of the glove is made of robust EXOLITE softshell material with an area weight of 210 g/m2. By combining all these exclusive materials , you get almost perfect hand protection for the cold and demanding conditions that we mountaineers love to look for.
