Vision METRON40 SL DB-CL 28" wheelset, disc, galusa, carbon, fixed axle, Shimano HG
The Vision Metron 40 SL Disc CL Tubular wheels are based on 40mm high aerodynamic tubular rims made of UD carbon.
The specific "U" profile of the rims was developed based on extensive CFD analyzes and tested in a wind tunnel. It guarantees excellent controllability and stiffness of the wheels under any conditions, especially when driving in crosswinds.
The wheels are wrapped on second-generation Vision disc hubs equipped with PRA technology (Preload Reduction Assembly) and quality bearings for minimal friction and maximum energy transfer efficiency on the 17mm internal axle.
The changes come in the area of the nut, which has a 5mm greater distance between the bearings and wider latches.
The front wheel contains a string consisting of 21 wires. The rear wheel contains 24 wires.
The dural nut is compatible with FSA, Shimano and Sram 9/10/11Speed road cassettes.
The wheels come with a carrying bag and Vision QR-93 quick-release axles. The package also contains reductions for the front hub for axles 12x100mm and 15x100mm, for the rear hub for axles 12x135mm and 12x142mm.
The minimum recommended width of the galuska is 23mm.
