Zipp's high-rim wheels—the 858 NSW and 808 Firecrest—embody Zipp's goal to make you faster. These two wheelsets are Zipp's favorite weapons for triathletes and time trial specialists. Now the Zipp 858 NSW and 808 Firecrest offer even more speed with the addition of our Total System Efficiency design with a no-crease tire bead to rim fit. What's more, each of these sets is hundreds of grams lighter than its predecessor.

Zipp's cutting-edge aero weapon is faster than ever, thanks to our patented Total System Efficiency (TSE) technology. The 858 NSW Carbon Tubeless wheels for disc brakes with TSE feature a tubeless and hookless (rim without a crease) rim profile for a seamless connection to the tire and significant weight savings. The 858 gives you the benefits of our tall rims at the weight typically associated with rims that are 20mm lower. The internal rim width is 23mm, ideal for running wider tires with lower pressure to reduce rolling resistance. TSE technology helps you overcome four speed barriers: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance and vibration losses. The wavy 82-85mm high 858 NSW rim shape, patented Sawtooth profile, is the most powerful design for aero efficiency and crosswind stability. The 858 NSW features Zipp's Carbon Internal Reinforcement (CiR), which creates a rim that is 10% lighter and just as strong as previous wheels. The result is pure speed, especially for triathletes, time trial specialists, and any other speed enthusiasts. What's more, even though this wheelset is optimized for tubeless tires, you still have the option to use tubeless tires. The 858 NSW is the fastest with a 28mm tire. In triathlon, riding wider tubeless tires with lower pressure will make you faster while also smoothing out the ride, leaving your body fresher for the run or the next attack. Disc brakes offer more reliable braking force modulation and braking performance in all weather conditions. At the heart of the 858 NSW is a set of Cognition V2 hubs engineered with the Axial Clutch V2 mechanism for faster engagement and lower friction, as well as increased durability.
