Ksyrium SLR are a novelty for the 2015 season and are the highest model in the Ksyrium series. The specialty of this model is the lower and wider front rim 25 / 20mm and the taller and narrower rear rim 26 / 19mm. The rear rim is eccentric for better balance of spoke tension on the left and right side of the wheel. The rear wheel has the same construction as the R-SYS model, ie it has TRA-COMP carbon spokes on the non-engagement side. This gave the rear wheel greater lateral rigidity and better energy transfer. The main trump card and innovations of the new Ksyrium SLR are the new rims machined with ISM 4D technology. The rims have a strong and light profile with excellent aerodynamics. This is achieved by machining the rim continuously with a milling cutter in the 4D dimension. Thus, excess material is removed while maintaining strength. Such rims have rapid acceleration, which is evident when accelerating and driving uphill. The front hub is made of Alu & carbon. Alu flat beams are solid with low air resistance. Comprehensive efficiency, effectiveness and long life are also ensured by special MAVIC YKSION PRO tires. GRIPlink is marked for the front wheel and Powerlink for the rear wheel. We recommend in a width of 25mm. High-quality encapsulated industrial bearings also ensure rotation. All parts are replaceable and repairable in our Mavic Service Center.
