Ksyrium S Disc can significantly increase the performance of any bike. It is 40g lighter than the previous Ksyrium UST Disc, while being more stable and laterally stiffer. Stiffness is optimized with Fore technology. The top rail remains undrilled, optimizing strength and stiffness, and no rim tape is required, saving an additional 30g.
The new shape of the rim makes it easier to mount and dismount the tires and the UST Tubeless technology improves rolling resistance and grip and reduces the risk of a puncture.
The new Infinity hub platform optimizes stiffness and power transfer with highly controlled spoke tension, while the Instant Drive 360 nut combined with automatic bearing preload adjustment (QRM Auto) ensures quick response and durability. The Ksyrium S disc not only rides fast, it looks fast too. Matte painted hubs, invisible rim welding and black spokes add a premium look that stands out from the crowd. It is designed specifically for disc brakes and is compatible with a 12x142 mm rear axle and can be converted to a quick release using the included adapters.
