SLR 1 50 Disc WheelSystem braided wheels designed for versatile use deliver low weight, excellent aerodynamic efficiency and top power transmission. 50 mm high rims with an aerodynamic profile ensure excellent efficiency on straight sections and dynamic ride quality in hills. Hookless rims with a larger internal width offer more support for wider tires along with increased sidewall stiffness for better grip and cornering.

  • rim bead with a thickness of up to 3.8 mm on each side for increased rigidity and greater support for better cornering
  • Dynamic Balanced Lacing (DBL) technology creates a stiffer and more efficient stringer as the wider hub flange increases the angle of the spokes for superior power transfer
  • low-friction hubs with precision-machined internals eliminate excessive bearing stress, reducing bearing friction, reducing rolling resistance and minimizing power losses

Giant was established in 1971 in Taiwan, they are one of the largest bicycle producers in the world. In the beginning, they made bikes for other companies. Since 1981 Giant has been supplying the market with bicycles under their name. They were one of the first companies to start mass production of carbon framesets. Liv is their brand for bikes for women offering MTB, road and gravel bikes. Components are also included in their offer as well as wheelsets under the name Cadex (their brand name).
