SLR 2 65 Disc WheelSystem road wheels with 65mm high carbon rims of aero profile are intended primarily for aero specials, which will provide excellent aerodynamic properties at a pleasantly affordable price. Modern hookless technology, which consists in the fact that the feet of the rim do not have "hooks", increases the overall resistance of the rim and allows to achieve a larger internal width without increasing the weight. Thanks to the unique distribution of the carbon layers, these bikes have an excellent ratio of high stiffness and low weight. This variant of SLR 2 65 wheels is designed for disc brakes, there is also a variant for rim brakes.

PROPERTIES
- hookless carbon rims for higher overall rim resistance and greater internal width without increasing weight
- the optimized distribution of the carbon layers contains carbon fibers with high tensile strength located in the most important structural points - the result is wheels with an optimal ratio of high stiffness, low weight and driving comfort
- The 65mm high aero profile of the rim brings excellent aerodynamic properties
- the larger inner width of the rim is ideal for the use of wider tires, which are common on road bikes today
- rim parameters: height 65 mm, outer width 26 mm, inner width 22.4 mm (ETRTO: 622-22)
- Giant Tubeless System - rims are tubeless (tape and valves are part of the set)
- front hub: Giant Alloy, encapsulated bearings
- rear hub: Giant Alloy, encapsulated bearings, Shimano HG nut, ratchet system (3-Pawl 30T)
- the rear hub is also compatible with the SRAM XDR nut (sold separately)
- hubs are intended for fixed axles: front 100x12 mm, rear 142x12 mm
- centerlock disc attachment
- tip: SAPI Sprint, 24 wires front and back, Alloy nipples
- weight (pair): 1726 g

Giant was established in 1971 in Taiwan, they are one of the largest bicycle producers in the world. In the beginning, they made bikes for other companies. Since 1981 Giant has been supplying the market with bicycles under their name. They were one of the first companies to start mass production of carbon framesets. Liv is their brand for bikes for women offering MTB, road and gravel bikes. Components are also included in their offer as well as wheelsets under the name Cadex (their brand name).
