The SLR 1 65 Disc WheelSystem with carbon rims have a specific rim height of 65 mm and are designed primarily for aero specials, which will provide excellent aerodynamic properties. Their other advantages include low weight and high efficiency. Modern hookless technology, which means that the rim feet do not have "hooks", increases the overall durability of the rim and allows you to achieve greater internal width without increasing weight. Dynamic Balanced Lacing (DBL) technology helps increase the efficiency of your power transmission, and high-quality, low-friction hubs are used for the lowest possible rolling resistance. This variant of the SLR 1 65 wheels is intended for disc brakes, there is also a variant for rim brakes.

- optimized distribution of carbon layers contains carbon fibers with high tensile strength located in the most important construction points - the result is wheels with an optimal ratio of high rigidity, low weight and driving comfort
- low-friction hubs with precise internal components eliminate bearing overload and reduce friction - reducing rolling resistance and minimizing energy losses
- Dynamic Balanced Lacing (DBL) technology ensures that the spikes are set to the optimum tension when pedaling, which brings increased wheel rigidity and also higher efficiency of transmission of your power
- thanks to the increased flange of the DBL hubs, the tips are at a greater angle, which increases the overall torsional / transmission and lateral rigidity for better force transmission
- 65 mm high aero profile of the rims brings excellent aerodynamic properties
- the larger inner rim width is ideal for using the wider tires that are common on road bikes today

- Giant Tubeless System - rims are tubeless (tape and valves are part of the set)
- front hub: Giant Low Friction Hub, encapsulated bearings
- rear hub: Giant Low Friction Hub, encapsulated bearings, Shimano HG nut, Ratchet 30T system
- rear hub is also compatible with SRAM XDR nut (offered separately)
- hubs are designed for fixed axles: front 100x12 mm, rear 142x12 mm
- mounting of discs by Centerlock system

Giant was established in 1971 in Taiwan, they are one of the largest bicycle producers in the world. In the beginning, they made bikes for other companies. Since 1981 Giant has been supplying the market with bicycles under their name. They were one of the first companies to start mass production of carbon framesets. Liv is their brand for bikes for women offering MTB, road and gravel bikes. Components are also included in their offer as well as wheelsets under the name Cadex (their brand name).
