The top aero model in the FFWD offer uses a rim with LAW TECH technology, where LAW stands for "Laminar Airflow Wing". This proprietary FFWD design optimizes aerodynamics and stiffness especially when used with wider shoes. The wheels are intended for use on the road at high speeds, sprints, triathlons and time trials. The wheels are optimized for perfect power transmission and air circulation using ideally 25-28 mm wide shoes. The used external brass nipples facilitate serviceability and increase the durability of the wheels. The string consists of DT Aerolite and DT Aerocomp tips in a ratio of 2:1, which contributes to a better distribution of tension in the string. The whole is completed by the FFWD TWO/ONE Straightpull hubs in the 2:1 version with a 36z ratchet system and a double seal. Wind tunnel testing has shown that the new RYOT77s are better than the competition from reputable brands.
