Product description

Versatility is the synonym of this line. Light and stiff enough for uphill riding, while the 45 mm high profile can already benefit from aerodynamics even when riding faster. These wheels will not let you down in any terrain, whether you go for a walk with friends, a tough training session or a race. The rim has an outer width of 23 mm, a height of 45 mm and implements a 3K nano tubes braking surface for better heat dissipation and higher braking efficiency and applies the patented DARC profile for great aerodynamic properties.

Both wheels use a straightpull chain with DT Swiss Aerolite or SAPIM CX Ray spokes. The nipples used are DT Swiss Pre Lock Squarx made of brass, which ensure longer string stability and wheel durability. The ratio of spokes in the weave is 2:1 (16 spokes on the cassette/reel, 8 on the opposite side). Thanks to this, the wheels are very well balanced and the rim is stressed equally on both sides. The hubs in this version are manufactured by DT Swiss exclusively for FFWD, while the rest of the hub is completely standard and offers the benefits of the famous DT Swiss hub variability.
