The use of state-of-the-art technologies and the innovative technical know-how of both partners push the boundaries of aerodynamics, material properties, construction and wheel design.
The 47 mm deep AERO + carbon rim, developed using sophisticated computer simulations and wind tunnel tests, is just one part of the entire wind system, which is optimized for use with powerful disc brakes.
The rim revolves around the legendary 240s hub with high-quality bearings and the proven 36 SL Ratchet freehub system for maximum efficiency and energy transfer.
The strong combination of DT Swiss aerolite® and aero comp® straightpull straight wires, which offer a balanced ratio of rigidity and comfort, puts your muscular strength on the road.
In addition, DT ProLock concealed aluminum nipples ensure minimal air turbulence.
Because the premium carbon rim offers full tubeless compatibility and an internal width of 19 mm, you are perfectly equipped for the latest trend in high-volume tires and modern tubeless systems.
For greater comfort on long endurance journeys, it is recommended to use 28 mm wide road tires. Road cyclists who want maximum aerodynamics and efficiency should prefer 25 mm wide tires.
