Red Metal 5 is our new model designed specifically for trail and all-mountain use. From training to racing, these wheels are ideal companions for a variety of situations including downhill and technical sections where durability is key. The new hubs have the same housing as the hubs used in the Red Zone Carbon and Red Zone 3 wheels. The differences are in the axle and the bearings: in the Red Metal 5 hubs we used sealed, long-lasting and efficient bearings that can be micro-adjusted with a specific adjustment ring. The Red Metal 5 hubs are equipped with a 2-WAY FIT READY rim with a height of only 18.6 mm and a new asymmetric part that has been specially designed to ensure an optimal balance of spoke tension. The rim width is wider compared to previous versions, so it can be used with less pressure, allowing for better grip and control in the most extreme conditions.
