Tubolight Diamana HD 29"/XHD 27.5" rim inserts, pair
The Tubolight Diamana rim insert has a controlled air flow and thus reduces tire bounce and helps maintain constant tire pressure on the ground.
The Diamana insert is made of EVA foam, which is known for its high density and stiffness, thanks to which it guarantees shape stability and constant air flow between the channels.
The channels on the side of the insert are shaped to create so-called Venturi effect. This means that as the channels become smaller, the speed of air flow through these channels increases. This will accelerate the flow of air from the outer part of the liner to the inner part between the liner and the rim. The air is then trapped in the inner part, increasing the time it takes to get back to the outer part. During the entire damping period, there is very little air in the tire compression area.
Other positive effects of using the insert include a reduction of vibrations by up to 50%.
