1. The wide angle opening prevents sealing material from clogging and ensures greater air flow. The open cross-section is larger than that of a conventional valve head. The mounting direction of the valve head hole is aligned with one of the rim edges. This ensures that any settled sealant is continuously expelled from the rim by centrifugal force in every direction of rotation.
2. This design allowed us to significantly reduce the height of the valve head, i.e. the part that protrudes inside the rim towards the insert. This creates another important advantage, allowing the liner to better fit the base of the rim channel.
3. Weight. We invested a lot of time, production, prototypes and various tests to finally achieve a world record result. The PTN aluminum valve is the lightest in the world, weighing only 4 grams. The weight includes the complete valve with all accessories.
