Chaoyang H-480 SPRINT 700x42C Hippo Skin cover, wire, reflex
Ideal urban or tekking tire for asphalt surfaces or light terrain. The smooth raised center of the tire guarantees low rolling resistance, excellent drainage from the center and a more comfortable ride. Serrations on the edges and sides increase traction in corners and in the wet. Deep grooves running from the center to the edges divert water away from the center of the shell. The 30TPI shell construction ensures sufficient strength, durability and, last but not least, the life of the shell. The HIPPO SHIN puncture protection inserted between the tread and the frame of the tire is composed of a mixture of cut Kevlar fibers and rubber (Kevlar floc). The thickness of the layer is 1.5 mm and significantly improves the stiffness of the shell and protection against punctures and punctures of the shell. HIPPO SKIN protection is specially developed for city bikes. The reflective strip along the perimeter of the jacket increases side visibility in poor lighting conditions.

TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar shell - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire- bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.
