The Marathon Plus Tour tire is described by the manufacturer as puncture-proof. Of course, a defect can still occur, but the risk is minimal with this cover. Another great advantage of the Marathon Plus Tour tire is its good rolling and long service life with high mileage.
The shell is a classic construction of a wire bead and 67 TPI braid. Under the tread is a 5 mm thick layer of synthetic rubber, one third of which comes from recycled materials.
The Marathon Plus Tour version, with its medium-thick pattern, is a sort of intermediate step between the Marathon Plus and Marathon Plus MTB tires. It goes great on the road and is not afraid of the terrain either.
The reflective stripes on the sides of the jacket ensure greater safety.
