Pirelli P ZERO™ Race 700x35C SmartEVO SPEEDCore tyre

Pirelli presents the new generation of the P ZERO Race TLR tire, which is an improvement of one of the best-selling models on the market. The new SPEEDCore construction reduces rolling resistance thanks to a thin airtight layer of rubber compound with aramid particles that covers the inner part of the tire. The greater flexibility of the rubber compound makes the casing faster and more flexible, while the presence of aramid increases puncture resistance. The frame is completed with 120tpi nylon fabric and an aramid anti-puncture protection belt. Pirelli uses the most advanced SmartEVO rubber compound, which provides the highest performance. All the special elements of the new P ZERO Race TLR are skillfully made in Italy and provide unique quality and excellent performance.

Hookless Compatibility: Sizes 26-622 and smaller are NOT compatible with hookless rims. Dimensions 28-622 and larger ARE compatible with hookless rims according to the ETRTO standard (5bar/73psi max. inflation pressure).

SmartEVO rubber compound
The latest generation of smart polymer mix for maximum grip with low rolling resistance. The new SmartEVO rubber compound uses a blend of three different polymers, each providing specific performance qualities to achieve an optimal balance of opposing properties such as grip and rolling resistance. Pirelli has used its knowledge and experience of more than 100 years in the development of rubber compounds for motorsport, which has made it possible to create a triple blend of polymers with intelligent performance properties for bicycle tires. This compound provides better grip in both dry and wet conditions and at the same time lower rolling resistance. Pirelli has created a performance rubber compound designed and tuned for all modern road cycling disciplines, from local or World Tour races to epic adventures where different surfaces and climates require tires that reliably perform at the highest level in all circumstances.

SPEEDCore
Top TLR (tubeless-ready) 120 tpi tire construction technology with an aramid inner layer and an aramid protective belt. This new structure adds strength and support to the tire skeleton, but maintains a flexible feel for minimal rolling resistance and maximum grip. SPEEDCore is a new patented technology that is designed exclusively for the use of the new P ZERO Race TLR tire. SPEEDCore is the choice of factory World Tour teams.
