Pirelli Cinturato™ VELO TLR 700x32C tyre
Cinturato Velo is a new Tubeless-Ready tyre from Pirelli, which was designed for maximum durability and comfort while riding without unwanted impact on performance riding characteristics. Pirelli's experience and the reliability of the SMARTnet™ Silica rubber compound technology, combined with the comfort of tubeless-ready tires and the durability of the Armor Tech™ technology, have enabled the development of a new tire with a unique DNA, perfect for long rides in different terrains and on different surfaces.
Armor Tech™ - combines the components listed below with different functions, which are located inside the tyre from the inside out and form a superstructure of nylon braid with a fiber density of 60 TPI

A layer of high-density nylon fiber that lies from bead to bead and protects against cuts

A high-density woven aramid fiber safety strip is located under the tread and provides protection against punctures and cuts from sharp objects

Aramid particles are dispersed directly in the rubber compound (SMARTnet™ Silica), which is in two layers: the outer layer (coating), which has the task of excellent riding characteristics (holding in dry and wet conditions, long run, perception of the surface) and the inner layer (base), which slows down the penetration to the lower layers thanks to a greater concentration of aramid particles

The Cinturato Velo tire bead has been designed for maximum compatibility and airtightness with tubeless-ready rims, as well as easy mounting for tubeless or tubeless use

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the shell's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible and flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The cover can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than the Kevlar one.
