WTB JUDGE 27.5 x 2.4" Tough High Grip SG1 tire, TCS, Kevlar
The toughest rear tire from WTB. The center of the tread alternates wide and long lugs to support braking traction and rolling ability. Exactly what you need from your rear tire. The tire profile is square with really pronounced side protrusions, allowing them to properly bite into the terrain when leaning. Also suitable for use on E-bikes.
Ideal combination with Vigilante or Verdict on the front wheel.
New SG1 protection
SG1 features the toughest and most durable protective technology ever paired with WTB's iconic Trail Boss, Vigilante, Judge and Verdict tire designs. This technology takes the proven two-layer "Tough" variant to a whole new level.
Added puncture protection runs under the entire tread of the tire, increasing its resistance to sharp objects hidden in the terrain. With the clear goal of strengthening the most vulnerable parts of the tire, WTB introduced its new Inner Peace+ technology, which triples the amount of tire bead protection for the SG1. This improvement not only protects the bead of the tire from damage, but also significantly strengthens the sidewall structure.
TriTec mixture
TriTec uses three rubber compounds to provide different levels of traction, support and durability based on their placement in the tire. The entire pattern is supported by a very hard rubber base that extends up to half the height of the tread lugs and allows the use of softer compounds in the lugs without their deformation due to cornering forces. The top of the center lugs is made up of a medium-hard durometer compound that provides traction and durability without compromising rolling efficiency, while the outer lugs are made up of the softest compound that provides maximum grip and slow rebound.

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The tire is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.
