Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5x2.30" EXO DC tire, TR, kevlar
With its all-new tread pattern, Maxxis Minion DHR II is the ideal tyre for aggressive gravity riding. With the side studs of the legendary DHF, which have been widened a bit for even better cornering grip, it has extreme cornering grip.
The central studs have bevelled studs for better acceleration. Notches on the studs improve the transition when turning into bends. Some of the centre studs have a paddle shape, they dig in during hard braking and help to keep the bike under control.

Technologies
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This provides better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of a puncture also decreases. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tyres. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that the tubeless mounting of all standard rims is already successful with the first inflation and with little liquid.
Also "normal" MAXXIS MTB tires can be mounted like tires of other manufacturers tubeless with sealant, because the carcass fabrics are very tight.
Officially approved for tubeless mounting and guaranteed by MAXXIS are only the new MAXXIS TR models. The tubeless assembly of other models is at your own risk.
EXO Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, light and very flexible. This keeps the performance of the tires unchanged convincingly good.
EXO - sidewall protection against cuts or punctures
|
Dual Compound - the harder central compound (62a) ensures low rolling resistance with slow wear, while the softer compound (57a) used on the sides offers excellent lateral formability and excellent tire grip in turns, whether in the rain or in the dry

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The tire is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.
