Product description

The Black Mamba XC tire was developed by Julien Absalon (2x Olympic and 4x World XC champion). It was specially created for the Olympic XC race in London. Its design is based on the Hutchinson Piranha and Cobra. The Black Mamba aims to be very light and fast in a dry environment. Weighing only 450 grams, the tire is extremely light and therefore suitable for competitive conditions. The softer side compound holds excellently in turns. Available as tubeless ready and RR XC and also as Airlite - a lightweight tube version.

MTB tires 27.5" from Hutchinson

The brand Hutchinson was established in 1893 in France, and they produce tires for all types of bikes. One of their milestones in their history is the patented kevlar guard layer in one of their road tire in 1988. Hutchinson was the first to supply the market with tubeless MTB tires and road tires since 2006. Many wins on Tour de France, the Olympics and new speed records were made with this brand.
