In standard pedelecs that have motor assist up to 25 km/h, there is no legal requirement for a special tire. But even with these bikes, loads and average speeds are higher than in regular bikes, therefore we recommend only certain tires as “E-Bike Ready 25”.

LiteSkin

The easiest option. The LiteSkin MTB tires forego SnakeSkin but still have a reinforced bead core. If you don’t mind the extra effort, these tires can also be converted to Tubeless by using a sealing fluid. However, we cannot guarantee that LiteSkin tires used with commercially available sealants will be safely and permanently sealed.

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The tire is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.
