The Vulpine is the latest racing addition to WTB's popular gravel tire line. The closely spaced center pattern forms a nearly continuous centerline to reduce rolling resistance, while the rest of the tread is filled with short lugs that further increase efficiency, minimize the possibility of punctures, and provide predictable traction in corners. Vulpine prioritizes maximum efficiency without sacrificing traction when climbing or braking. New tire protection WTB - SG2
In addition to being lightweight , SG2 tire protection also provides excellent protection against punctures and flats. Such tires have a high value of 120 TPI - that is, the number of threads per inch (threads per inch), which expresses the density of the fibers in the shell of the tire. This new protective layer is lightweight and contains an ultra-thin nylon liner that covers the entire surface of the jacket from toe to toe. So you can go on any surface without worrying about breaking through.
How much more durable are the new tires with SG2? Laboratory tests show that adding SG2 protection provides 33% better sidewall protection and 17% better tread protection than standard 60 TPI tires without SG2. Gravel walks are becoming more frequent and longer. Riders are not afraid of difficult terrain. That's why WTB comes with durable tires that will keep you going on any surface.

TPI (EPI) - the density of the shell's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible and flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The cover can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than the Kevlar one.
