Maxxis Snyper 24x2.00" SilkShield tire

Most children's tires for mountain bikes are either "overweight" or have very poor resistance or grip. Snyper from Maxxis is an exception. The center tread is angled to reduce rolling resistance, but the aggressive side lugs boost the confidence of any little 'crusher' in corners. The Snyper uses lightweight SilkShield material to protect against punctures from heel to heel, all around.

TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar shell - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire- bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.
