Maxxis DTH 24x1.75" tyre wire
The Drop-The-Hammer aka DTH is a great dirt tire, developed for BMX racing at the Beijing Summer Olympics. Its advantages are low weight, excellent acceleration and excellent traction on hard surfaces, whether in the skate park, on the bicross track, or on natural obstacles in the dirt park.
- Silkworm - technology based on an exclusive material that is added under the tread of the tire, increasing resistance to punctures and tears
- Dual Compound - the harder central compound (62a) ensures low rolling resistance with slow wear, while the softer compound (57a) used on the sides offers excellent lateral formability and excellent tire grip in turns, whether in the rain or in the dry
- Cord with fiber density 120TPI

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar shell - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire- bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.
