The unique arrow design in cooperation with the wider base of the tread provides extremely long life and resistance to punctures. The central smooth directional surfaces guarantee low rolling resistance and enable faster and quieter driving. Raised tread edges provide excellent cornering traction and better rider response. The 30TPI shell construction ensures sufficient strength, durability and, last but not least, the life of the shell. The HIPPO SHIN puncture protection inserted between the tread and the frame of the tire is composed of a mixture of cut Kevlar fibers and rubber (Kevlar floc). The thickness of the layer is 1.5 mm and significantly improves the stiffness of the shell and protection against punctures and punctures of the shell. HIPPO SKIN protection is specially developed for city bikes.
