The Scorpion™ Enduro M is Pirelli's most versatile enduro tire, designed for any kind of use: everyday riding on local trails and weekend racing. It provides constant performance and predictable behavior throughout its lifetime.

Properties:

  • SmartGRIP Gravity rubber compound (M and S models) – softer rubber compound for a wide range of terrains. Maximum grip in any conditions.
  • Braid - multi-layer nylon braid with a density of 60tpi for greater reliability and better handling.
  • HardWALL – tire construction with a protective layer from toe to toe and a rubber insert for an aggressive driving style. HardWALL is specifically designed for use in enduro, where it offers good support and greater resistance to cuts and punctures. This construction is intended for technical and demanding trails.
  • TUBELESS READY – tubeless use with simple assembly and durable feet.

We present the first results of Pirelli's work carried out under the supervision of DH legend Fabien Barel and in cooperation with racing downhill and enduro teams. Scorpion™ Enduro is a line of 3 different tread patterns for different terrain conditions, from M (mixed surface), through R (universal rear tire), to S (soft and loose surface), developed to offer a complete range of performance enduro tires for everyday use on trails. Scorpion™ Enduro tires are designed to withstand rough terrain and enable a modern style of riding on faster and more powerful bikes. They provide grip (adhesion) and reliability even in the most demanding use: the patented SmartGRIP Gravity rubber compound guarantees grip in both dry and wet conditions, as well as excellent tear resistance. The jacket thus has a performance that persists throughout the entire life of the jacket, even after partial wear of the sample.

HardWALL
Tire construction technology from Pirelli with a protective layer from bead to bead and a rubber insert for aggressive off-road driving. Tire construction designed specifically for a rough terrain riding style – several reinforcements built right into the tire carcass are designed to improve the overall resistance of the braid, as well as to allow more support when using lower tire pressures. With a toe-to-toe nylon protective layer integral to the braid and a thick rubber insert across the toe, the HardWALL construction is designed to handle brutal handling with ease and protect against punctures. The incorporation of these reinforcing elements together with the 60tpi nylon braid contribute to a solid and durable construction that promotes reliability and ride quality without compromising on weight and pedaling efficiency.

HardWALL is specifically designed for use in enduro, where it offers good support and greater resistance to cuts and punctures. This construction is intended for technical and demanding trails.

The SmartGRIP Gravity rubber compound is a race-ready choice. It is based on decades of experience and know-how in motocross, and incorporating valuable feedback from former World Cup champions.
