Once connected to the ARVA app, you can configure your finder, prepare for a hike, and even practice a rescue! The possibility of choosing between digital and analog mode, the largest width of the search band 80m, (90m in analog mode), the "stand-by" function for rescuers who are not actively searching, reduces disturbing influences during the rescue operation.
The function of scrolling through the list of found objects, which are sorted by signal strength, will enable the efficient division of tasks within the team and improve the possibility of coordinating effective rescue actions. An avalanche finder in combination with a shovel and probe should be mandatory equipment for every backcountry skiing enthusiast.
