A multifunctional weapon with a wide range of uses
- ice ax designed especially for climbing difficult icefalls and technically demanding mountain roads, but thanks to the modular system you can adapt it to any ascent
- the bent shape of the handle allows easier climbing in ice thicknesses or in rock and at the same time guarantees an optimal grip angle
- the forged head allows the use of an ICE or DRY tip as well as a choice between a mallet and a shovel (for demanding mixed routes, the ax can also be used without a mallet/shovel)
- the ice ax head is shaped to be wedged into a crevasse for mixed climbing and at the same time to provide support when climbing in soft snow
- the center of gravity of the head follows the trajectory of the jam, and this balanced ice ax easily penetrates hard ice
- the hole in the head is large enough to connect a carabiner or hang an ice ax on a PORTER
- the ergonomically shaped handle made of two-component plastic provides a secure grip and at the same time thermal insulation
- hole in the lower tip for connecting a carabiner or BUNGEE spring straps
- the BOXER toe protector enables easier climbing without straps and prevents bruised fingers; the RHINO hook serves for a higher grip during demanding ice/mix climbing and also for climbing in flat terrain (both BOXER and RHINO can be completely removed and thus obtain a light ice ax for technical climbing in the mountains)
- supplied as standard with an ICE tip and MASS stainless steel extra weight for a more powerful swing (for easier penetration even into the hardest ice)
