Echo Whistle is a very noisy whistle in an ergonomic design, whose whistle can be heard over long distances. It reaches a volume of 108 dB. It is made of hardened plastic and has a lanyard for the keys. The internationally recognized distress signal is 6 consecutive whistles followed by a 1-minute pause, 3 consecutive whistles with a 1-minute pause are used as a response.
