Petzl ZIGZAG mechanical prussian (11.5 13 mm)
The ZIGZAG mechanical prusik allows workers to move efficiently on the tree using the classic prusik hoist technique. The friction chain ensures precision and smoothness in movement. The pulley is mounted on encapsulated ball bearings for easy rope retrieval. It can be used on a suspended double rope or on a single rope, which provides great versatility. The lower connection hole is fixed to ensure the alignment of the device with the axis of the worker and to optimize the grip.
Intuitive use:
The technology is identical to the classic Prussian hoist- The device automatically locks onto the rope as soon as the friction chain is deployed
Effective movement in the crown of the tree:
- The rope feed is smooth and precise thanks to the release lever, which gives the user great control over his movements.
- By adjusting the pressure on this lever, the speed of movement is controlled
- Easy to release thanks to a pulley mounted on encapsulated ball bearings and separate and molded sidewalls
- The lower connection hole is fixed to ensure alignment with the worker's axis and an optimized grip
Universality:
For use on a suspended double rope, or on a single rope thanks to the CHICANE accessory, which increases the friction during the descent, and the KNEE ASCENT set, which facilitates the ascent- Upper connection hole for the end of the rope when using a double rope or for an additional CHICANE brake when using a single rope. It has a flexible positioning ring that helps keep the connector in the correct position
- Auxiliary connection hole for adding a ZILLON connector or connecting a second system
Resistance:
Steel construction for better durability- Separated and shaped sidewalls for better wear resistance
- Compatibility with ropes: diameter 11.5 to 13 mm
- ZIGZAG allows the user to work in accordance with the ANSI Z133 standard
