The VOLTA GUIDE 9 mm rope offers the extremely low weight and volume required for maximum performance in extreme climbing, as well as flexibility and complete water-repellent treatment for alpinism. The UIAA Guide Dry treatment gives it excellent water resistance and is suitable for everyday use in extreme conditions. Its grip and pliability make it easy to handle. It is available in several lengths, depending on the needs of the user, from 30 meters for classic alpinism to 100 meters for long routes and mountaineering.
Compact and ultra-light for maximum climbing performance:
- Ultralight: only 54 g / m
- Compact thanks to its thin diameter of 9 mm
- ClimbReady Coil: a special coil of rope that is ready for immediate use. The user does not have to rewind the rope and it will not get tangled or knotted when unwinding
Perfect for technical alpinism and ice climbing thanks to its excellent water resistance:
- UIAA Guide Dry treatment: a water-repellent treatment allows users to keep the rope dry every day, regardless of the conditions. Meets the requirements of the standard UIAA water repellency test: water absorption less than 2%
- The UIAA Guide Dry treatment extends the life of the rope
- UltraSonic Finish: the core and sheath are bonded together at the ends of the rope using an ultrasonic process. It provides more durability and prevents split ends
Convenience:
- The rope rope makes it easier to unwind, handle the loops and feed the rope in the safety brake
- EverFlex: a specific heat treatment stabilizes the core strands and improves consistency. Provides excellent grip and handling over time
