Petzl MAESTRO S pulley
MAESTRO S is a self-locking lowering and extraction device designed for technical rescue operations. It facilitates the handling of heavy loads when lowering or lifting and can be used in both primary and belay systems. This versatility of use allows rescuers to adapt to any situation they may encounter during a rescue. The ergonomic handle and integrated brake enable comfortable, controlled lowering of the load. The transition from lowering to pulling mode is immediate, without the need to shift the load. The integrated pulley rotates in one direction and locks in the opposite direction. The large diameter disc mounted on encapsulated ball bearings ensures excellent pulling efficiency. The AUTO-LOCK system automatically locks the rope when the handle is not in use. After blocking, the rope can be lifted up without the need to handle the handle. MAESTRO S is compatible with ropes with a diameter of 10.5 to 11.5 mm and allows the handling of loads up to 250 kg.

Simple installation of the rope thanks to the marking on the device- The ergonomic handle allows gradual release of the rope and enables convenient control of the launch.
- Instant change from lowering mode to pulling mode without the need to shift the load

Effective for handling heavy loads:
Large-diameter integrated one-way locking pulley mounted on encapsulated ball bearings; rotates only in one direction for excellent extraction efficiency- The pulley has ground facets that create additional friction zones for the rope and thus better braking during lowering.
- The integrated brake regulates friction based on the load and rope diameter
- Handling loads up to 250 kg
