Petzl ABSORBICA Y TIE BACK fall arrester with carabiners
ABSORBICA-Y TIE-BACK is a double tie with an integrated fall shock absorber and two central loops for back connection. It is intended for vertical progress on constructions with large beams and for movement along the securing line with progress anchor points. For users weighing between 60-140 kg, including equipment. The TIE-BACK system allows loop ends to be reattached to fit around large cross section structures. The loops are elastic so as not to restrict the progress. It is ready for immediate use, equipped with two MGO connectors at the end of the cable and a Bm´D connector for connection to the harness.
Absorbs shock energy in the event of a fall:
- Gradually pulling out the seams of the strap absorbs the energy of the fall and dampens the impact force acting on the user
- For user weight from 60 to 140 kg, including equipment
- Progressive plucking reduces slow plucking in light users
Small Size:

- The 150 cm version has elastic tightening loops so that the progress is not restricted
- Durable fabric case with an opening system at each end, protects the shock absorber from abrasion or dirt and allows regular inspection of the absorber
Two harness installation options, depending on use:
- When connecting/disconnecting frequently, use a carabiner with a STRING protector (included in the package) or a MICRO SWIVEL swivel to avoid tangling
- For a low disconnection frequency, use the RING OPEN connection ring, whose circular shape ensures optimal positioning, or the SWIVEL OPEN hinge to prevent tangling
Two variants at the ends of the loops:
- Comes with two special high capacity MGO couplings and Bm´D connecting carabiner with STRING guard
- Or without carabiners
