OCÚN Thor 2Q work harness

Versatile full-body harness, suitable for a wide range of work activities. The technologies and design elements used - WeBee 3D foam, removable padding, PE reinforcements on the back and many others make Thor extremely comfortable, breathable, washable, and also one of the lightest work harnesses in the full-body padded category.

Thanks to its unique "sports" concept, the harness also allows for unrivaled freedom of movement, all while maintaining high wear resistance. The harness consists of two detachable parts - the shoulders and the seat harness.

Standardized connection points:

  • The chest fall arrest attachment point (EN 361:2002) is made of textile for increased user comfort and carries the safety mark "A". Tested to 15 kN upside down, 10 kN upside down
  • The dorsal fall arrest attachment point (EN 361:2002) is also textile for increased user comfort and carries the safety mark "A". Tested to 15 kN upside down, 10 kN upside down
  • Central attachment point – carefully designed D-element made of light alloy with anodized surface complying with EN 813:2008. The maximum rated load is 140 kg. Tested to 15 kN
  • Positioning 1 – two D-connectors (EN 358:2018) located on the sides of the harness allow it to be folded into a working position or snapped into a parking position when not in use. This will prevent them from accidentally getting caught on protruding objects.
  • Positioning 2 - Another positioning attachment point (EN 358:2018), made of textile, is located at the center of the back of the harness's hip belt

Thorough organization of the material:

  • Four material loops with reinforced braid resistant to early wear. Load capacity 10 kg
  • Slots for material carabiners are located in front and behind the positioning D elements (2 x 5 slots in total)
  • Additional material loops of any size can be easily created using string, following the instructions.
  • Special attachment points for the bench are located in the load axis. Load capacity 150 kg
  • Carabiner slots on the legs provide convenient storage for ropes outside the main work area

Greater comfort and safety, easier handling:

  • The patented Webee 3D hexagonal foam is very light, breathable and easy to wash, does not retain odors
  • The shoulder straps have been designed to avoid unwanted rubbing on the user's neck.
  • Additional movable shoulder padding increases comfort; can be completely removed for working with raised arms
  • The back part provides better support to the body thanks to the added polyethylene layer
  • Osprey Screw oval carabiner makes it easy to put on the harness
  • Symmetric delta pant connection system protects against discomfort in the groin area
  • Wide primary straps ensure even pressure distribution on the body surface, increasing the comfort of the harness
  • Narrow secondary straps, on the other hand, increase freedom of movement, reduce coverage and thus possible sweating.
  • Double bend at the end of all adjustable straps makes tightening them easy, even with gloves on
  • Steel self-locking buckles for easy adjustment of the strap length are protected against corrosion by a double protective layer (zinc plating, EDC)
  • Reflective tape and contrasting piping increase visibility and therefore user safety in the workplace

The harness is equipped with two Thor Quick buckles for easy donning.
The method label with the manufacturing marking is covered by a durable fabric and is easily accessible even when using the harness (left side of the belt)

Ocún is a Czech brand that has been producing climbing shoes and seat harnesses since 1988 and that initially operated under the Rock Pillars brand. In 1994, it opened its first own manufacturing plant and started series production. The production of climbing equipment began under the Ocún brand at the end of 1998. The team of developers of climbing shoes ROCK PILLARS began to promote that they should also add climbing equipment to the production of climbing shoes. The Ocún brand has the red flower of the common autumn plant (Czech: ocún jesenní) in its emblem, hence the name Ocún. The company produces climbing shoes, harnesses, bouldering mats, carabiners, express loops and other equipment, which quickly gained popularity due to its quality, functionality and design purity. Today, the company has about 100 employees who develop and manufacture OCÚN climbing equipment and ROCK PILLARS climbers.
