Petzl WILLIAM SCREW LOCK carabiner with screw lock, black
The light asymmetric carabiner WILLIAM is made of aluminum. It is a large pear-shaped HMS carabiner that is suitable for easily connecting multiple devices. Its smooth interior design and Keylock system make it easy to handle. The WILLIAM carabiner is available in three versions of the lock fuse. The WILLIAM can be used with the CAPTIV divider, which keeps the carabiner in the correct position, loaded in the main longitudinal axis, which is suitable for use with rappelling equipment.
The pear-shaped shape offers a large capacity:
- Makes it easy to connect multiple items
- Allows easy tying of half boat loop for improvised descent
- The aluminum carabiner is light and reduces the weight of the equipment that the worker at height needs to carry
The smooth internal design limits the risk of a catch point and makes it easier to turn the carabiner
- Keylock system to prevent involuntary capture of the carabiner
It ensures a better strength-to-weight ratio
- Protects the marking from abrasion
- TRIACT-LOCK: three-stage automatic fuse
- BALL-LOCK: three-stage automatic fuse with locking indicator
- SCREW-LOCK: a screw lock with a red stripe that allows a visual check of the locking of the carabiner
