Petzl SMD SCREW LOCK carabiner with screw lock, yellow
Sm'D D-shaped carabiner with lock safety is very light and compact, it can be used in many situations. It is easy to handle even with gloves.
High versatility of use:
- Connection of the securing device, the pulley, at the end of the loop
Excellent handling and ergonomics:
- D shape for good handling
- The H-shaped cross-section reduces weight while maintaining strength and grips well in gloves
- The KeyLock lock system prevents accidental capture of the carabiner
- A small hole under the latch allows you to connect TIBLOC or MICRO TRAXION aids with a cord to the carabiner and thus prevent them from being lost
It is produced in three lock fuse systems:
- SCREW LOCK - screw lock, can be used locked or unlocked depending on the situation. The red indicator signals an unsecured fuse. This system is suitable for difficult conditions (mud, ice), where the automatic fuse could become clogged with dirt
- TWIST LOCK - specific situations in which a quick opening (the ends of the connecting loops) and for connecting the GriGri to the harness is required
- TRIACT LOCK - automatic fuse used for work at heights
- TL and SL models are produced in black for special component and tactical use, or for use in the entertainment industry
