Climbing Technology Axis HMS TGL carabiner, grey/green
Large HMS bolt-on carabiner with large lock clearance and ACL system (steel spring preventing over-rotation of the carabiner). Hot forged from light alloy. Designed for mountain climbing, extrication maneuvers and rescue operations. Its ergonomic shape guarantees the correct axial load against the rope and other devices. The carabiner's large size and sufficient width allow belaying through a half boat knot, belaying more than one rope, loops or equipment for rope maneuvers in general.
- Prominent double T profile for excellent weight/carrying ratio.
- Lightened and shaped for a better grip.
- The nose of the carabiner does not have a beak so that it does not catch when it is clicked in and out.
- The ACL system - a steel feather that allows the carabiner to be attached to the securing eye of the seat, which fixes its position and thus prevents cross-loading of the carabiner.
