Petzl SPIN L1D single-sided pulley with a swivel
The SPIN L1D Pulley, which can be opened even when attached to an anchor point, is designed to be used in conjunction with a rappelling device for maximum ease of rerouting the rope under heavy loads. The facet pulley rotates in only one direction, providing superior pull-out performance and more friction when lowering. The swivel hinge facilitates handling, allows the pulley to be oriented under load and the direct connection of carabiners, ropes or loops.
- The three-stage opening of the movable side is quick and easy, even with gloves
- The rope can be installed with the device attached at the anchor point
- A red mark provides visual control of an unsecured movable side
- The special construction of the sidewalls protects the groove for the rope and enables the use of a Prussian knot.
