Petzl VERSO safety brake, gray
Ultralight brake for belaying and abseiling. It is used for belaying the first climber, one or two second climbers and for abseiling. It is effective in every situation and can be used for ropes of different diameters and types. Suitable for sport climbing.

Adaptable to a wide range of rope diameters:
- V-shaped friction grooves allow control of braking
- compatibility with dynamic single ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 10.5 mm (11 mm possible, depending on the flexibility of the rope)
- compatible with dynamic half ropes with a diameter of 7.1 to 9.2 mm
- compatible with dynamic double ropes with a diameter of 6.9 to 9.2 mm
Durable and lightweight:
- the rounded shape of the grooves for the rope reduces wear and extends the life of the brake
- compact and light: only 55 g
