Petzl STOP rope brake
STOP is a abseiling brake with assisted braking designed for speleology. It is used with low-tension ropes with a sheathed core (semi-static) with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm. Improves descent control and facilitates rope handling. The ergonomic handle ensures extremely comfortable grip and usability. The friction segments are made of stainless steel to ensure a long service life.
Descent control:

Convenience:
- the ergonomic handle enables easy unblocking of the rope and lowering of persons

- a safety latch on the swivel side allows easy installation of the rope while the device remains attached to the harness
- the oval connecting hole allows the FREINO Z carabiner to be rotated to avoid losing the brake when changing from the harness connecting eye to the semi-circular carabiner
