Petzl PIRANA GUIDE roping eight, orange
PIRANA is a rappelling rope with variable braking friction force settings designed for canyoning. It has three options for installing the rope with different frictional force, which are selected before starting the roping. The friction spur allows to increase the frictional force of braking during the roping. A plastic ring ensures the correct position of the coupling to facilitate the connection of the whole assembly to the harness and reduce the risk of falling. A groove for laying the rope and a second spur for quick securing of the rope.

Easy to use:
- the plastic ring ensures the correct position of the clutch, simple installation of the rope without the need to disconnect the assembly from the harness, which reduces the risk of dropping it
- a locking groove and an additional spur make it easy to quickly block the rope
It meets the EN 15151-2 standard except for the requirement for the minimum size of the connection point
