Petzl ASAP movable fall arrester without carabiner
With its unique locking system, ASAP sets the standard for fall protection for workers at heights. In normal use, the device moves freely along the rope without the need for any manipulation and follows the user in all his movements. In the event of a shock load or sudden acceleration, the ASAP locks onto the rope and stops the user. Depending on the intended use, the ASAP can also be combined with the fall arrester ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS for working at a greater distance from the rope.
Continuous fall protection:
- It catches falls, slips and uncontrolled ropes
- It works on a vertical or inclined rope
- It will lock on the rope even if the worker is holding onto the rope while falling
Simple and effective use:
- It moves up or down the rope without any manual control
- Simple installation and removal at any point on the rope
- Can be combined with a fall arrester for working at a greater distance from the rope: ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS
- ASAP'SORBER AXESS can be used for a load of up to 250 kg in rescue situations for two people
- Certified according to European and Russian standards when used with the OK TRIACT-LOCK carabiner
- Certified to US standards when used with Bm'D or OXAN TRIACT-LOCK carabiner (international version)
Certification:
- EAC if the catcher is used with the OK TRIACT-LOCK carabiner with a 10-13 mm EN 1891 type A rope. An ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS fall arrester can be used if needed
- ANSI Z359.15 when the arrester is used with an ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS fall arrester, a Bm'D or OXAN TRIACT-LOCK carabiner (international version) with a CAPTIV divider and a 1mm sewn-in static rope
