The climbing express Climbing Technology Berry Set NY 17 cm is a very versatile model focused on details for sports routes. It combines the advantages of a full lock with a toothless Catch-Free treatment in the upper part of the carabiner with an ultra-light wire lock - also toothless thanks to Free Gate technology.
It is fastened with a 16 mm wide polyamide strap. This option is an excellent compromise between an ultra-light dyneema strap (11 mm) and a heavier, more comfortable expanded sports strap when "pulling from the expander".

It also consists of two carabiners made of light alloys by the Hot forged method. Thanks to this, each of them is characterized by high strength and refined geometry. The colored anodizing (blue and yellow) fulfills three main tasks in addition to a purely decorative function: it facilitates the control of carabiner wear and the speed of their wear; allows you to easily locate the device on the wall.

They have several features that make it easier to work with express. In the case of the upper carabiner, the simple solid lock was "enhanced" with grooves to improve the grip. You will appreciate the grooves for the best grip on both sides of the lock during difficult ascents - wherever the position of the body is far from rest.
There is a Catch-Free locking system (toothless lock). Thanks to this, the handling of the carabiner when attaching and detaching is much smoother.

The bottom carabiner - with an ultralight wire lock - uses an innovative surface treatment that eliminates the sharp tooth. The patented FG (Free Gate) locking system is the equivalent of a lock with a key in fixed locks. It closes the cavity in the carabiner so that any object that might get caught slides smoothly out of the lock.

It uses the Fixit solution in the lower carabiner - a rubber band that holds the lower carabiner in the correct position, making it easier and faster to fasten the rope. It also has a positive effect on the strength of the tape and protects it from possible abrasion.
