Petzl WILLIAM SCREW LOCK carabiner with screw lock
The light asymmetric carabiner WILLIAM is made of aluminum. It is a large pear-shaped HMS carabiner that is suitable for easily connecting multiple devices. Its smooth interior design and Keylock system make it easy to handle. The WILLIAM carabiner is available in three versions of the lock fuse. The WILLIAM can be used with the CAPTIV divider, which keeps the carabiner in the correct position, loaded in the main longitudinal axis, which is suitable for use with rappelling equipment.
The pear-shaped shape offers a large capacity:
- Makes it easy to connect multiple items
- Allows easy tying of a half boat loop for an impromptu descent
- The aluminum carabiner is light and reduces the weight of the equipment that the worker at height needs to carry
Easier handling:
- The smooth internal design reduces the risk of snagging and makes it easier to rotate the carabiner
- Keylock system to prevent involuntary capture of the carabiner
H-shaped cross-section:
- It ensures a better strength-to-weight ratio
- Protects the marking from abrasion
Three locking systems:
- TRIACT-LOCK: three-stage automatic fuse
- BALL-LOCK: three-stage automatic fuse with locking indicator
- SCREW-LOCK: a screw lock with a red stripe that allows a visual check of the locking of the carabiner
- Also available in black (TRIACT-LOCK and SCREW-LOCK versions)
