Mammut Smart HMS 2.0 Screwgate carabiner
Mammut's Smart HMS is a carabiner with a so-called position fixator. The plastic part on the carabiner is used to keep the carabiner in the correct position with respect to the seat and the guard. This is very important and it is possible to prevent dangerous situations. At the same time, the fixator cannot be closed unless the lock latch safety is screwed in. Therefore, it also serves as an indicator of the correct locking of the carabiner when checking before climbing.|
