Edelrid Fuse fall arrester
A fall arrester that meets all applicable standards in Europe and North America. Fuse redefines the standards for guided fall arresters. It is a securing device for payloads up to 140 kg. From the first meter, he moves along the rope with unprecedented ease. This is achieved thanks to a new, ingenious attachment on the lever arm.The separation of the locking mechanism and its speed-dependent actuator (patent pending) increase the reliability and safety of the device. The Fuse reduces rope wear, prevents it from breaking and ensures that the blockage can be released without completely releasing the load. This is achieved by releasing the clamping cam gear. If necessary, the clamping can be activated using the practical locking function.
The Fuse can be attached to and detached from the rope without having to separate it from the carabiner. In combination with the lightweight and compact DEFUSER energy absorbers (S, L or RESCUE), the maximum impact force is 30% lower than standard. The different lengths and performance parameters of the absorbers guarantee the best handling - also for rescue operations and horizontal use.
The only device on the market that meets EN 353-2, EN 12841-A, RfU 11.075 and ANSI Z359.15 standards for payloads up to 140 kg - approved for horizontal applications.
