GEAR AID GA GTX patches, black
The Goretex self-adhesive patch enables the quick repair of torn membrane, applied and non-applied fabric directly in the field. It is made of matte applied high-strength and abrasion-resistant black fabric, on which a high-strength, pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is applied. The patch is not breathable, but it guarantees complete waterproofness. The fabric patch lasts approximately 2 washes or up to 5 washes after ironing. The application is possible directly in the field and is very simple. Subsequent ironing of the patch is recommended for a longer durability of the repair. The patch is particularly suitable for repairing membrane fabrics.
Instructions for use: Cut the desired patch from the selected patch so that it overlaps the repaired area in any direction by at least 10-15 mm, round the corners. Align the repaired fabric on a flat mat. The surface of the repaired fabric should be dry and clean. Remove the cover film from the cut patch and press the patch onto the repaired fabric with an adhesive layer. Smooth the patch. The full adhesive strength of the patch is achieved after 24 hours, but the repaired fabric can be used immediately after the repair. If the patch is ironed after returning home, its life can be extended up to 5 washes. Ironing should be done gently through a damp cloth.
